Faceted Navigation
Faceted navigation is the UI pattern of structured filters — checkboxes, sliders, dropdowns — that lets a shopper narrow a product list by attribute, typically shown alongside a category or search results page.
Part of Product Discovery
It's the interface layer built on top of faceted search: faceted search is the underlying capability to filter by attribute, while faceted navigation is how that capability is presented and used on the page.
